Method: This study was conducted between March 1, 2017 and June 30, 2017 for 23 female elderly patients among patients who entered a nursing facility in a single region. Correlation analysis between quality of sleep, cognitive function, and depression was conducted according to the use of assistive tools.. Data were analyzed using Independent sample t-test and Pearson correlation.

Result: The quality of sleep for elderly women who did not use mobility aids was significantly higher than for older women using mobility aids(p<.05). There was a correlation between sleep quality and depression in all elderly women, regardless of whether or not they used a assistive tools.

Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the sleep quality of the elderly women who did not use a assistive tools was higher than that of the elderly women who used a assistive tools and that the quality of sleep was highly correlated with depression. Therefore, it is thought that if we conduct further research on factors that affect the quality of sleep for older women, it will not only improve the quality of sleep for older women but also allow older women to enjoy better daily activities.
